This policy explains how SIA “VENTAHAUS INVEST” processes personal data when you visit this website or contact us through it. It is provided in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Personal data we process

Enquiry data: when you use the enquiry form or contact us by email or phone — your name, email address, phone number (optional), the home or layout you are interested in, preferred furnishing level, purchase timeframe, your message and any further correspondence. When the form is submitted, the IP address it was sent from and your selected language are included in the enquiry.
Technical data: when you visit the website, the web server records technical log data such as IP address, date and time, requested page, referring page and browser information.

3. Purposes and legal bases

To answer your enquiry, arrange viewings and prepare a proposal — steps taken at your request before a possible contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
To keep a record of our correspondence and, where necessary, to establish, exercise or defend legal claims — our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) and, where applicable, legal obligations such as accounting requirements if a purchase takes place (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).
To protect the website and the enquiry form against misuse, spam and attacks — our legitimate interest in secure and reliable operation (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We do not use your data for advertising, do not send marketing messages without your separate consent and do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling.

4. Is providing data required?

Providing personal data is voluntary. Without your name and email address we cannot respond to an enquiry sent through the form; all other fields are optional.

5. Recipients

Your data is accessed only by authorised Ventahaus Invest staff who handle enquiries and sales. We use service providers for website hosting, email and technical maintenance; they process data only on our behalf and in accordance with our instructions. Where required by law, data may be disclosed to public authorities. We do not sell personal data.

6. Transfers outside the EU/EEA

We do not intend to transfer personal data outside the European Union or the European Economic Area. If such a transfer becomes necessary, it will take place only with the appropriate safeguards required by the GDPR.

7. Retention

Enquiry data and correspondence: for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and a possible purchase, and afterwards only as long as required by law or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims within the applicable limitation periods. If no purchase follows, we delete enquiry data once it is no longer needed for that purpose.
Server logs: for a short period, typically up to 14 days, after which they are deleted automatically.
Form protection: to limit repeated submissions, the form uses a pseudonymised (hashed) form of the sender’s IP address together with recent submission times. This information is used only for that purpose and is kept only temporarily.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to request access to your personal data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and to object to processing based on our legitimate interests. To exercise your rights, contact us at info@ventahaus.com. We will respond within one month.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data State Inspectorate of Latvia (Datu valsts inspekcija, www.dvi.gov.lv).

We may update this policy if our processing of personal data or the applicable law changes. The current version is always published on this page.
